Day 12 of Mentor on Road, USA

“Truth can be stated in a thousand different ways, yet each one can be true.”
-
Swami Vivekananda

Day 12 of Mentor on Road, USA, started with an interaction with American companies at the World Trade Centre, Atlanta. The event was well organised and all the participating companies were first-rate. We presented the details about New India 3.0. Almost every company who attended the event met me personally and have shown their interest in doing business in India. We were very glad to get such a good response.

With Daniella Lainez of WTC Atlanta

The World Trade Center Association stimulates trade and investment opportunities for commercial property developers, economic development agencies and international businesses looking to connect globally and prosper locally. It’s an association that serves as an 'international ecosystem' of global connections, iconic properties and integrated trade services under the umbrella of a prestigious brand.
World Trade Center Atlanta is one of over 300 World Trade Centers around the globe under the umbrella of the famous World Trade Center Association in New York. It facilitates powerful international networking, mingling with visiting international business leaders and government delegations, and receiving personal corporate introductions to prospects around the world.
After this, we went to Atlanta Stone Mountain where we thoroughly enjoyed.

Stone Mountain is a quartz monzonite dome monadnock and the site of Stone Mountain Park in Stone Mountain, Georgia. At its summit, the elevation is 1,686 feet (514 m) MSL and 825 feet (251 m) above the surrounding area. Stone Mountain is well-known not only for its geology, but also for the enormous rock relief on its north face, the largest bas-relief in the world. The carving depicts three confederate figures during the Civil WarStonewall JacksonRobert E. Lee, and Jefferson DavisIt was purchased by the State of Georgia in 1958.

Stone Mountain is more than 5 miles (8 km) in circumference at its base. The summit of the mountain can be reached by a walk-up trail on the west side of the mountain or by the Skyride aerial tram.

We also visited the Sai Adult Day Care Center which is doing a remarkable work for seniors in Atlanta. We were touched to see the services that they provide.

Mentor on Road addressed 100 members of Indian diaspora during the evening in Atlanta and they felt proud about the positive direction towards which India is moving. We shared the vision and encouraged them to adopt smart villages. We were glad to receive an excellent support from the crowd. We also mentioned that we aren’t seeking any funds from them but only requesting them to adopt their village and it is we who would arrange the funding and convert it into a smart village. We require knowledge, experience, contacts, technology and most importantly, honesty, to make this project work successfully.

Heartfelt thanks to Mr. Mustafa Ajmeri from Atlanta who had organised the event at a short notice of 2 days. We salute him for his popularity and commitment towards Indian diaspora.

Tomorrow we will be heading towards Jacksonville which is going to be our seventh stop.

Jacksonville is the cultural, commercial and financial center of
North Florida. A major military and civilian deep water port, the city's riverine location supports two United States Navy bases and the Port of Jacksonville, Florida's third largest seaport.
Jacksonville's location on the St. Johns River and the Atlantic Ocean proved providential in the growth of the city and its industry. Jacksonville has a sizable deep water port, which helps make it a leading port in the U.S. for automobile imports, as well as the leading transportation and distribution hub in the state. However, the strength of the city's economy lies in its broad diversification. The area's economy is balanced among distribution, financial services, consumer goods, information services, manufacturing services, insurance and other industries.

We hope the journey ahead remains as exciting and inspiring as it has been till now.

Jai Ho! (Let victory be yours)
