Mentor on Road had an excellent interaction with industries of Uttarakhand at Dehradun under Industries association of Uttarakhand ( IAU ). So many relevant issues related to complications in new GST draft bill were raised & shall be brought to the notice of government immediately.
Other issues raised were related to land acquisition for
manufacturing, start up registration complications, labour laws challenges,
minimum wages increase, poor broadband connectivity, Pharma excise & tax 10
year waiver withdrawal, IT audits, MAT issue, etc
According to members, following are challenges faced by
Industries in Dehradun:
Infrastructure and connecting roads needs to be improved
- Shortage of skilled manpower - Transportatin - Technology - Non
avalibility of training facilities in internal locations in the state -
Shortage of Bank Credit - Poor avability of power.
A very lively question answer session was followed & very practical & doable solutions were suggested. Here are some photos of the team who made it Possible.
Thanks to Anil Goyal Ji, Pankaj Ji Gupta, Rajiv ji & team for hosting.
Team Mentor On Road enjoyed an animated interaction with the owners, management, staff and workers of Hotel Saffron Leaf in Dehradun who hosted the us. Discussion was on innovative approaches and 10 strategies of doing business. Had a great evening with them. Their food quality is yummy. Their hospitality and service standard is very high. I strongly recommend you to stay here in the hotel.
Team Mentor on Road paid a spiritual visit to Haridwar and took part in pious evening prayers at the banks of Ganges. One truly feels the presence of soul and the essence of god by visiting such a place. You love how they do prayers with diyas that fight the evil, evil within and help us follow the path of enlightenment, humility and success.
For our Social Kahani - Team Mentor on Road visited Happy Homes for the old age citizens. 10 elderly people are living there and it is a very comforting place for them to stay. They are taken good care of there. We also visited Hari Om Ashram. It is an orphanage where they teach children in school. They have 18 cows which were saved from cow slaughter centres and the children take care of the cows. This is the ideal definition of staying with harmony and compassion. I am really impressed by the work they are doing.
