Just like a car requires all its four tyres intact to traverse around, similarly to undertake this journey of a thousand miles successfully we got the support of stalwarts of organisation. These organisations like us have a vision to see the SME’s grow across our nation and wish to act like a catalyst in making many an entrepreneurs realise their latent dreams. SME’s today face problems in various quarters like marketing, finance, technology and others which sometimes act as hindrances due to which some SME’s do not reach their full potential and at time it perishes. Hence, to ensure that this scenario vanishes from the ecosystem, all our partner firms have joined hands with us to help the burgeoning SME’s, in the problem areas which fall under their expertise.
Wearing a blue colour polo Tshirt, carrying a bag full of gifts, letters, clothes,a young boy climbs his bike. As the sound of the bike engine starts his body stiffens ready to embark the journey of the day. The sun shines bright and warm but still he moves delivering gifts and letters along the way. After the long tiring day at work as he takes his siesta his mind and body wage a war as his body fights to sleep while his mind awakes to fulfill his entrepreneurial dream. Say divine intervention or otherwise suddenly the very organisation where he worked gives wings to his dream of having something of his own. DTDC an organisation which since its inception has been fuelling such entrepreneurial dreams for individuals across all strata of society. “ Create a dream in the mind of people and allow them to dream not just at night but even during the day” says Mr. Subhasish Chakraborty, the Chairman and MD of DTDC. DTDC through its franchise model has enabled many an individual to become first time business owner as DTDC believes in wealth sharing and not wealth making. Today DTDC has around 8000 franchises in India which has enabled it to touch the lives of 8000 families. Data the very backbone on which many a businesses rely, yet its management creates a hindrance to many. Many SME’s across India too face this problem but at times they tend to neglect it as they do not have the infrastructure or the financial backing to tackle this. Realising the fact that many SME’s thought of the SAP Solutions as very expensive and very complicated, SAP today has redesigned its solutions especially to cater to the SME’. Today it allows customers to choose the solution according to the budget they have and the functionality they require. The biggest way in which SAP has helped the SME’s is by allowing the SME’s to use their services and software without spending on infrastructure or hardware. They have done so by providing the cloud platform which is affordable and has helped a large number of SME’s across the nation in solving many of their day to day problems. “Becoming a global player” is what all SME’s aspire for but the flipside to it is that it is also the major challenge that SME’s face but today due to SAP solutions which provides scalability, many a SME’s are realising their dream to go global.
